In medium to large network environments, it is often necessary to deploy multiple NTP network clock synchronization servers. For example, in a network architecture of a headquarters and multiple branch offices, a typical deployment method is to deploy two primary clock servers in the headquarters network center, with two devices as the main and backup for each other. Generally, products with rubidium clocks are used. The primary clock equipment obtains accurate time from Beidou/GPS or other higher-level network clock sources, providing timing services for the secondary clock server and other required terminals. If it is not convenient to deploy Beidou antennas in the network center computer room of the headquarters, portable handheld clock source handling equipment can be used.
Secondary NTP network clock synchronization servers can be deployed in various branches. The second level clock synchronization server generally adopts products equipped with constant temperature crystal oscillators, and can also use the same products as the first level clock server. As a secondary time synchronization server, it is necessary to trace the source to an external primary network time server; When the external time source is invalid, the secondary time server can also automatically lock it to the internal navigation satellite time source, continuously providing services to the required clients.
