On November 24, the GNSS Signal Quality Assessment Center of the National Time Service Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences successfully received the real-time data feedback from the overseas integrated monitoring station, and began to provide Beidou users with comprehensive assessment services for real-time monitoring, time service performance, and orbital performance of Beidou 3 satellite navigation signals, marking the completion and operation of the first overseas integrated monitoring station of Beidou 3.
The overseas comprehensive monitoring station is located in the capital city of Minsk, Belarus. During the construction period, the project team overcame the impact of adverse factors such as the global epidemic. Relevant staff arrived at the site on October 28th and carried out various tasks in an orderly manner. They completed the confirmation of on-site equipment, antenna installation, installation of computer room equipment, power on debugging of computer room equipment, power on debugging of Skyline, and joint debugging of domestic and foreign systems. The comprehensive monitoring station completed real-time transmission of overseas monitoring data at 17:30 on November 24th, and the evaluation results met the design requirements.
The successful completion of Minsk Overseas Integrated Monitoring Station will further supplement the Beidou-3 navigation signal real-time monitoring network, improve the global monitoring of Beidou-3 system, and play a role in building the "the Belt and Road" international cooperation platform.
